Last
Wednesday “The Taleteller” company came to our school to do a performance of a
great show for P5, 1st and 2nd graders. The theatre play was called “The
enormous turnip”.
The story
was about Farmer Brown who planted some turnip seeds. But the turnip grew so
much that he wasn’t able to pull it out alone. He needed the help of his wife,
his son and some of the farm animals.
With this
story, we have learned that if we work together we can achieve the most
difficult tasks!
During the
previous days we have been working some vegetables vocabulary and some animals
and we have revised the process to plant a vegetable.
It has been
a great experience and we have had lot of fun playing games, singing and
dancing together!
