HAPPY HALLOWEEN !

Hello!

How are you doing?

Halloween is almost here!

During this week we have been doing different activities, games and crafts to learn about this tradition and to have fun while doing English.

We have also discovered information about the real origin of Halloween.

For example, did you know that Halloween originated with an ancient Celtic festival called Samhain?

People used to light bonfires and dressed with scary costumes to ward off ghosts!

We hope you have a Happy Halloween!

Theater in English

Hello families!
Last Monday, on 29th of April, the storyteller came to the Bisbat d’Ègara school to represent the story of “The Enormous Turnip” for students of P5, 1st and 2nd grades.
The theatre was about Farmer Brown who loves turnips, his favourite vegetable. He plants a turnip seed and it grows bigger and bigger until it is enormous. Together, with the help of his wife Mary, his son George, a cow, a dog, a cat, and a mouse, he tries to pull the turnip out.

Finally, they pull it out and prepare a turnip soup to share all together.
